“National Army” factions thwart regime attempt to advance into eastern Aleppo
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that opposition factions operating under the banner of the Turkish-backed “National Army” have thwarted an attempt by regime forces and loyalists to advance into the frontlines of Faykhat Hemdan, Al-Tumayshah and Al-Bohamid, east of Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Fierce clashes broke out between the two sides and lasted for hours, amid exchange of fire. Reported suggested there are casualties.
Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored clashes with machine guns between Turkish-backed factions and regime forces, on the frontlines of the towns of Faykhat Hemdan, Al-Tumayshah and Al-Bohamid in the Kurdish-held areas, east of al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported.
