Al-Suwaidaa | Regime security services release all young people arrested in June demonstrations, only one driven to mandatory service

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that regime security services released eight young people of those who had been arrested in mid June for participating in anti-regime demonstrations.

Accordingly, regime forces have released all people who were arrested in the recent demonstration, except one young man who was driven to mandatory military service.

A few days ago, SOHR sources reported that popular discontent was growing in Al-Suwaidaa city as regime security services maintained anti-regime demonstrators who were arrested a few weeks earlier in their detention centers. Despite the release of some demonstrators, with the mediation of Al-Aql elders in Al-Suwaidaa, regime security services refused to release many demonstrators for “passing their date of joining the mandatory service” and intended to drive them to military service in the ranks of the regime army.
