IED attacks | Explosion targets house of SDF commander, causing material damage in Deir ez-Zor countryside
Deir ez-Zor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
SOHR activists say that a loud explosion was heard in the town of Abu Hammam in Deir ez-Zor countryside today, as a result of an IED explosion targeting a house of SDF commander, planted by unknown persons, believed to be ISIS cells. The explosion resulted in material damage only.
On July 8, SOHR sources reported that two unidentified gunmen shot a civilian, who was a former member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Ishreen Street in al-Al-Busayra, east of Deir ez-Zor, killing him instantly.
The number of SDF fighters who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in north-eastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, has increased to 358 persons.
