Suspicious activity | Russian jets fly over Syria-Turkey border strip daily for unknown reasons

A few days ago, Russian jets started to carry out daily flights over the Syria-Turkey border strip, from Idlib to areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in northern Aleppo. The intensive flight of Russian aircraft in the airspace of border areas and Turkish-controlled areas on a daily basis is the first phenomenon of its kind. The reasons behind this activity have yet to be known.

SOHR sources said earlier this morning that regime forces renewed rocket attacks in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting places in Al-Bara village, Fulayfel and Al-Faterah in jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, SOHR activists monitored exchange of fire with heavy and medium machineguns between regime forces and opposition factions on Al-Amqiyyah frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in western Hama.
