Security chaos in Daraa | Unknown gunmen assassinate civilian in Al-Mzirip town

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen assassinated a young man from the town of Nawa in Daraa countryside today. He was shot in the town of Al-Mzirip while he was there. The victim works in a car repair shop and hails from the western countryside of Idlib.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 556 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 366 persons, 93 of whom are civilians, including nine women and nine children, in addition to 178 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

57 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 19 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 19 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
