Rural Tal Tamer | Pro-regime protesters block U.S. patrol, forcing to retreat to Tal Tamer city

SOHR activists say that a U.S. patrol returned to the city of Tal Tamer this afternoon, after being blocked by pro-regime forces protesters in the villages of Al-Sibat, Tal Shamiran and Mansaf Tahtani in the countryside of Al-Hasakeh governorate. Dozens of residents gathered in those villages, expressing their rejection of the American forces’ presence and demanding them leave their villages.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists monitored nearly 40 pro-regime protesters gathering in Al-Qasir village in Al-Qamishli city, expressing condemnation of the economic sanctions imposed on Syria. The protesters also demanded US and Turkish forces leave Syria.

On July 6, Observatory activists reported seeing several persons gathering in Tartab village controlled by regime forces and National Defense Forces (NDF) in the countryside of Al-Qamishli city. The pro-regime protesters demanded the U.S. forces get out of Syria.
