Turkey’s military build-up | 4,600 vehicles arrive in Syria since the ceasefire, as nearly 70 new vehicles enter “de-escalation zone”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of a new column of military reinforcement of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, heading towards the area of “Putin-Erdogan”, and consisting of more than 30 vehicles carrying logistical and military materials.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today the entry of a new column of Turkish forces via Khirbet al-Jawz crossing, west of Idlib. The column consists of ten armoured vehicles headed towards Ishtabraq post, west of Jisr al-Shughour.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 4,600 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 7,935 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While over 11,000 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
