“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces and rebels trade fire on frontlines of southern Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” since the early hours of Sunday morning. This calm was interrupted by exchange of fire on the frontlines of Al-Bara and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib, between regime forces and opposition factions. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, Observatory sources said regime forces renewed rocket attacks in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting places in Al-Bara village, Fulayfel and Al-Faterah in jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

 

Meanwhile, SOHR activists monitored exchange of fire with heavy and medium machineguns between regime forces and opposition factions on Al-Amqiyyah frontline inSahl Al-Ghab in western Hama.
