“De-escalation zone” | Regime rockets pound positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, while Russian reconnaissance drones flying over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing reconnaissance drones flying over areas in the southern countryside of Idlib since the early hours of Monday morning. Meanwhile, regime forces fired several rockets on places in Fulayfel, Sfuhen, Al-Fterah, Kansafra and Maarbalit in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” since the early hours of Sunday morning. This calm was interrupted by exchange of fire on the frontlines of Al-Bara and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib, between regime forces and opposition factions. No casualties were reported.
