Joint patrols | Russian and Turkish forces tour villages in rural Al-Darbasiyya

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that Turkish and Russian forces conducted a new joint patrol in Al-Hasakah countryside. A patrol of seven Russian vehicles and four Turkish ones set off from Sherik crossing at the Syria-Turkey border in Al-Darbasiyyah countryside, and toured the villages of Dalik, Malak, Abbas, Zahr Al-Arab and Kasra, then the vehicles headed to Kurkond, Ta’alak and Otayshan in west Al-Darbasiyyah countryside. The patrol was escorted by Russian helicopters flying over the area.

 

On June 9, SOHR sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces conducted a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol, escorted by Russian helicopters, roamed in several villages in the city’s western countryside.
