Aleppo | “Physicians and pharmacists” association holds vigil in Al-Bab, demanding the protection of medical teams

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that the “physicians and pharmacists” association staged a vigil in the Turkish-controlled city of Al-Bab, calling for putting an end to the ongoing security chaos in the city.

The protesters demanded the protection of medical teams and lifted signboards with slogans on them read “dignitaries of Al-Bab city condemn the security chaos – the protection of medical teams is everyone’s responsibility – pharmacists of Al-Bab city call for putting an end to security violations”.

This vigil comes after yesterday’s attack by unknown gunmen who opened fire on the pharmacists’ association chairman and his family in Al-Bab city.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that unidentified gunmen in a car opened fire on a civilian working as pharmacists’ association chairman, while he was traveling with his family in a car near Osama bin Zayd mosque in Al-Bab city, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo countryside. The attack left the pharmacists’ association chairman and his child injured.
