Afrin | Landmine explodes killing number of sheep

SOHR sorces say that a landmine left over from the war exploded in Al-Mahmoudiya neighbourhood in Afrin, north of Aleppo, killing a number of sheep who were grazing there.

On May 23, SOHR activists documented the death of a young man affected by the injuries he had after the explosion of an old landmine in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside.

According to SOHR sources, the young man died after he sustained serious injury due to a landmine explosion, while he was trying to extinguishing blazes which broke out in Klawtiyyah village in Shirawa district.
