Joint patrols | Turkish-Russian patrol covers the entire M4 for the first time
Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Turkish and Russian forces running a new patrol on Latakia- Aleppo international highway (M4). The patrol set off from Trenbeh village in the eastern countryside of Idlib to Ain Hoor village in the northern countryside of Latakia.
Ain Hoor village is the last stop on the highway in rebels-held areas. Accordingly, the 21st joint patrol has accomplished one of the terms of the Russian-Turkish agreement struck on March 5, regarding patrolling the entire M4 highway.
According to SOHR sources, the patrol is waiting now on the highway, amid sound of explosions caused by detonating landmines by the Turkish army.
