In response to soldiers’ injury on M4 | Russian jets strike Kabana hills in Jabal Al-Akrad

Syrian Observatory sources say that Russian jets executed several airstrikes just before noon, targeting areas in Kabana hills in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, along with regime rocket attacks on the same areas. No casualties have been reported.

This development comes after the injury of three Russian soldiers due to the explosion of a high-explosive landmine, while the Turkish-Russian joint patrol was passing on the M4 highway near Musaybin. The injured soldiers were taken in Turkish vehicles to hospitals. This explosion hit the patrol, despite the intensive sweeping operations by Turkish forces in the past 24 hours.
