Rif Dimashq | Regime soldiers injured in attack on “military security” checkpoint

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that unknown gunmen attacked a checkpoint of the regime’s military security services on the outskirts of Kanaker town in the western Rif Dimashq.

According to SOHR sources, the attack left three regime soldiers injured, as it was followed by exchange of fire between the attackers and regime soldiers stationed at the checkpoint for nearly one hour and half, before regime reinforcement arrived.

Regime forces have not able to arrest the attackers, while local sources in Kanaker town say that the gunmen who attacked the checkpoint were deployed on the town’s outskirts and that all of them were putting on masks.
