Ammunition depot’s blast | Explosion injures nine members of Internal Security Forces and SDF in Al-Hasakeh

SOHR sources say that five members of the Internal Security Forces and four others of SDF were injured this evening in the explosions in a weapons and ammunition depot, north of the city of Al-Hasakeh.

The explosions also caused significant material damage, affecting the surrounding neighbourhoods at the site.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening explosions rocked the neighbourhood of Al-Mashrefa, north of the city of Al-Hasaka, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), as a result of an unknown explosion in an ammunition and weapons depot of SDF in the area. Several violent explosions were heard.

On June 21, the Syrian Observatory monitored an unidentified explosion at an old ammunition depot belonging to SDF in the city of Al-Rmilan, north-east of Al-Hasakeh. No casualties were reported.
