Escalating bombardment | Regime forces and jihadi groups trade fire in Idlib countryside

SOHR sources have reported that jihadi groups operating under the banner of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room fired several rockets on regime positions in Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Hantotin and Khan Al-Sabil in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces renewed rocket attacks targeting several areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

SOHR sources have just reported that regime forces fired several rockets on the vicinity of Sramin, Al-Nayrib and Afes in the east of Idlib city. The regime’s rocket attacks coincided with shelling by the factions of the “National Liberation Front” with rocket launchers, targeting regime positions in Dadikh town in eastern Idlib.

Meanwhile, the frontlines of eastern Idlib have experienced military build-up of Turkish-backed factions and regime forces.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that Turkish forces fired several rockets this morning on the regime-controlled town of Saraqib, but no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, regime forces renewed shelling in the early hours of Thursday morning, targeting places in Al-Fterah, Kansafra, Sfuhen and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib.
