Al-Bab | “National Army” factions raise readiness and amass militiamen at Turkish forces’ orders

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that the factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” in Al-Bab area in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo are on high alert. These factions are boosting their checkpoints, amassing military personnel and raising military readiness, at orders by the Turkish forces stationed there. Meanwhile, several jets were seen flying over the area in the past few hours.

On Wednesday, SOHR activists said that one civilian was killed and more than ten others were injured, including children and women in airstrikes on several places in al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo. An unidentified jet, but believed to be Russian, hit positions in the Turkish-backed town of Al-Bab in eastern Aleppo province, where a building near Al-Iman mosque, west of al-Bab, was hit with high-explosive missiles.

In the meantime, sirens in Turkish posts nearby al-Bab were heard, along with the flight of those jets.

It is worth nothing that it was the second time for al-Bab city to be hit by Russian airstrikes since early February when the Russian jets targeted a mosque near al-Hal market in al-Bab, setting the mosque on fire and causing damage to property.
