“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces and rebels trade fire on frontlines in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored exchange of fire and shelling on frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the early hours of Sunday morning, between regime forces and opposition factions. Otherwise, tense calm is prevailing in the “de-escalation zone”.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that regime forces fired several rockets on places in the villages of Deir Sonbol, Al-Ruwayha and Horsh Bayanin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. No casualties were reported. The regime rocket attacks came after tense calm in the “de-escalation zone” interrupted by artillery fire and exchange of attacks on the different frontlines.
