Homs | Unknown gunmen shoot dead three people of one family in Al-Mas’oudiyah

Homs Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the killing of three persons of the same family after being shot by unknown gunmen in the regime-controlled village of Al-Mas’oudiyah in rural Homs. The victim’s bodies were found in the village’s eastern dam. No further details have been reported about the identity of the perpetrators or the reasons behind this murder.

On Friday, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that a former opposition fighter who had reconciled with security services, shot dead a regime officer near the checkpoint of “Al-Jam’iyah Al-Fallahiyah” in Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs, then he escaped.

According to SOHR sources, patrols of regime’s intelligence and security services set checkpoints in Talbiseh just after the incident, and carried out a security campaign arresting five persons who had relations with the murderer. Meanwhile, tension was growing in the city.
