Security chaos in SDF-held areas | Unknown explosion injures many people in central Raqqa city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an unknown explosion in Al-Raqqah city this evening, hitting a gathering of civilians in the Al-Amassi area near Al-Naim roundabout.

Meanwhile, Internal Security Forces imposed a security cordon at the site of the explosion.

Ambulances rushed to the scene, as the explosion left many people injured in varying conditions. 

On July 14, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored several explosions in the SDF-controlled city of Raqqa, three of which exploded in the modern medicine area in an abandoned building in the center of the city, the last of which exploded in al-Jazra neighbourhood in the western part of Raqqa. No casualties were reported.
