Deteriorating security in Daraa | IED explodes in vehicle of the regime’s “state security intelligence” in northern countryside

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported hearing an explosion in Jasim town in the northern countryside of Daraa, caused by an IED explosion. The explosion took place on the road between Jasim and Tal Al-Samn, while a military vehicle of the regime’s “state security intelligence” was passing, the explosion caused material damage, but no casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, a member of the regime’s military intelligence branch died affected by wounds he sustained in yesterday’s explosion in Daraa Al-Balad, bringing the total number of fatalities to three. Two members working for the military intelligence branch in Daraa were killed yesterday in a suspicious explosion inside a house in al-Jamrak neighbourhood in Daraa al-Balad.

It is worth noting that the regime member who died today, was the brother of Mustafa Al-Kasam, an ex-commander in opposition faction who joined the regime’s “military security” after he had reconciled with security services.
