Al-Qamishli | Turkish forces shell house injuring child

SOHR activists say that a girl child was injured in Al-Qamishli city as a shell fired by Turkish forces hit a house sheltering a family in the “Old Station” neighbourhood.

According to Observatory sources, Turkish forces were targeting a former SDF military barrack near civilian homes there.

This comes as Turkish forces try to test the SDF’s response.

Turkish forces had fired a rocket-propelled grenade from inside Turkish territory.

The shell hit the Self-Administered’s “Roj agricultural center” in the Old Station neighbourhood, adjacent to the Turkish border in the north-eastern part of Al-Qamishli city, injuring two of the building’s guards, who are members of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayish”.
