Afrin | “Al-Hamzat Division” loots civilian houses in Raju
Reliable sources have informed the Syrian observatory that gunmen of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzat Division” looted several civilian houses in “Qadda” village of Raju district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo.
According to SOHR sources, the division’s gunmen stole household appliances, money and furniture from the houses. This action comes as a part of ongoing restriction on people of Afrin canton to force them to leave the area.
On Wednesday, SOHR activists said that fierce clashes with various types of weapons erupted among groups of “Jaysh Al-Sharqiyyah” faction, in residential neighbourhoods in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in north-western Aleppo.
According to SOHR sources, the clashes resulted in the killing of a woman, while her son sustained serious injuries, in addition to the injury of other civilians. The reasons behind these clashes have yet to be known.
Meanwhile, a state of panic is prevailing among Afrin residents due to the ongoing clashes, since the warring rebels using rockets.
