Deteriorating security in rebel-held areas | IED explosion injures a person in Al-Bab

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an IED went off this morning on the road to Al-Ra’i in Al-Bab city, north-east of Aleppo. The explosion injured a person and caused material damage.

This incident comes as a part of security chaos in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Aleppo countryside.

On July 22, SOHR Observatory activists documented more fatalities in the car-bomb explosion which hit the roundabout in Sajju village, near Bab Al-Salama crossing on the Turkey border on July 19, bringing the total number of fatalities to 13. The death toll was expected to rise as the explosion left nearly 65 persons injured, some seriously.
