New armed robbery | Unidentified gunmen break into house in Al-Raqqa city, as security chaos continues in SDF-held areas

Al-Raqqah Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that unidentified gunmen broke into the house of a contractor in Raqqa city, seriously injuring him. The gunmen also stole a large sum of money estimated at $200,000 from his home.

This comes one week after a similar robbery targeting the city’s capital owners.

On July 19, the Syrian Observatory monitored an unknown explosion in Al-Raqqa city hitting a gathering of civilians in the Al-Amassi area near Al-Naim roundabout. The explosion targeted a civilian with capital in the city, seriously injuring him.

Meanwhile, Internal Security Forces imposed a security cordon at the site of the explosion.
