South of Idlib | Regime forces intensify rocket attacks on areas in Jabal al-Zawiya

The Syrian Observatory has monitored renewed rocket attacks by regime forces on areas in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. The shelling extended to Kansafra, Al-Bara, Al-Fatira, Kafr Aweid, Al-Mozra and Safohin, coinciding with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the region.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored during the day an intensive rocket attack by jihadist and opposition factions on the positions of regime forces, in the city of Kafranbel and surroundings, south of Idlib. In addition to shelling regime positions in the town of Masran in the eastern sector of Idlib.

Meanwhile, regime forces continue to target various areas in Jabal al-Zawiya with rocket-propelled grenades. No casualties have been reported.

The areas of Jabal al-Zawiya are witnessing a wave of displacement of the remaining civilians towards Idlib city and the northern areas due to heavy shelling on the area.
