Responding to regime attacks on rural Idlib | Turkish troops and factions target regime gatherings in Saraqeb

SOHR activists say that Turkish forces and factions stationed in Idlib countryside targeted regime forces’ positions on frontline of Saraqeb city, east of Idlib city, responding to shelling Jabal al-Zawiya and the town of Al-Nairb in Idlib countryside.

SOHR sources say that regime forces renewed their shelling with dozens of artillery and rocket-propelled grenades, targeting the town of Kansafra and the villages of Kafr Aweid, Al-Muzara, Al-Fatira, Safohin, Billioon and Arnabeh, south of Idlib, causing a partial destruction of civilian homes in those villages, as intensive shelling has continued since last night.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening shelling by regime forces on areas in Jabal al-Zawiya and the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored during the day an intensive rocket attack by opposition factions on the positions of regime forces in the city of Kafranbel and Masran in rural Idlib.

The areas of Jabal al-Zawiya are witnessing a wave of displacement of the remaining civilians towards Idlib city and the northern areas due to heavy shelling on the area.

SOHR sources have confirmed earlier the death of an opposition fighter in a rocket attack on the villages of Jabal al-Zawiya.
