Security chaos in Daraa | Unknown gunmen assassinates two members of the central committee in Horan

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle assassinated two members of the central committee in Horan in the city of Daraa al-Balad.

It is worth nothing that one of them was a former commander in the opposition factions. The two members joined the central committee after striking a reconciliation deal with the regime.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 591 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 396 persons, 104 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 11 children, in addition to 184 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

68 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 20 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 19 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
