Regime attacks | Forces shell villages and towns of Idlib countryside, as drones fly over the area

SOHR sources say that regime forces continue to shell villages in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib with various types of heavy weapons, coinciding with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area.

Regime forces have shelled the town of Ma’arat al-Na’asan and al-Fatira, and the villages of Safohin and Kafr Aweid in Jabal al-Zawiya. No casualties have been reported.

This brings the number of ground strikes from Wednesday morning to date, to more than 260 rocket-propelled grenades and artillery.

Regime forces had shelled areas in Kansafra, Ain Larouz, Al-Bara, Kafr Aweid, Al-Muzara, Billioon, Al-Fatira and Arinba in Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, the factions responded to the heavy shelling targeting regime forces’ positions in the town of Kafranbel, south of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of four civilians, including children in a rocket attack by regime forces targeting the town of Billioon in Jabal al-Zawiya.
