“De-escalation zone” | Regime ground forces renew rocket attacks on Jabal Al-Zawiyah, interrupting recent tense calm

SOHR activists have monitored tense calm prevailing in the “de-escalation zone” since midnight. This calm was interrupted this morning by regime rocket attacks on places in Al-Bara, Fulayfel, Al-Fterah and Kansafra in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that regime forces continued shelling villages in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib with various types of heavy weapons, as regime forces shelled Ma’arat al-Na’asan town, al-Ftera, and the villages of Sfuhen and Kafr Oweid in Jabal al-Zawiya.

 

Regime forces’ bombardment coincided with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area.
