Blasts | Car-bomb explosion target military checkpoint in rural Ras al-Ain (Sari Kani), killing nine people

The Syrian Observatory has monitored a spike in the death toll of a car-bomb explosion, which targeted a joint checkpoint of Al-Hamzat brigade and civilian police. Ambulance teams transported at least nine charred bodies from the site of the explosion, including an unidentified body, and the rest of the military checkpoint. The explosion left more than 15 people injured among fighters and civilians, some of them in serious conditions.

SOHR activists have just reported hearing a loud explosion in the Turkish-controlled town of Tal Halaf in “Peace Spring” areas. the explosion was caused by the detonation of a car-bomb in the joint checkpoint of “Tal Arqam” affiliated to Al-Hamzat Division and the Civil Police in western Tal Halaf in Ras Al-Ain countryside, north of Al-Hasakah.

According to SOHR documentation, 15 people, mostly civilians, were killed in four explosions in Ras al-Ain in a week, and at least 32 people were injured, some seriously.
