Robberies | Unknown assailants rob vehicle carrying money of Al-Sham Corps near Deir Balloot crossing, west of Afrin

SOHR activists say that unknown persons stopped a car belonging to the Turkish-backed Al-Sham Corps near the village of Mohammadia, which is connected to the Deir Balloot crossing, and stole the salaries and monthly expenses exceeding 20 million Turkish liras, before fleeing to an unknown destination.

It is worth nothing that the Turkish-backed 23rd Division is deployed in the village, in addition to security checkpoints of Al-Sham Corps near the crossing.

On July 26, the Syrian Observatory monitored the reopening of crossings between the areas held by Turkish-backed factions in Afrin countryside and the areas held by HTS and the factions in Deir Balloot and Al-Ghazawiya in Idlib countryside, after they were closed by Al-Sham Corps, due to preventive measures to tackle the spread of coronavirus.
