Feuding factions | Fierce clashes erupt between members of “National Army” in Jandiras area, west of Afrin

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored violent clashes with light and medium weapons in the area of Jandiras, west of the city of Afrin, between members of the Turkish-backed “National Army”. No further information has been reported on the causes.

The incident has triggered discontent among residents due to the actions of these members on the eve of Eid al-Adha.

SOHR activists said earlier that unknown persons stopped a car belonging to the Turkish-backed Al-Sham Corps near the village of Mohammadia, which is connected to the Deir Balloot crossing, and stole the salaries and monthly expenses exceeding 20 million Turkish liras, before fleeing to an unknown destination.

It is worth nothing that the Turkish-backed 23rd Division is deployed in the village, in addition to security checkpoints of Al-Sham Corps near the crossing.
