Rising tension | HTS attacks regime soldiers in Jabal Al-Zawiyah leaving ten dead or wounded

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that a landmine went off in a group of regime soldiers in Al-Ruwayha village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib. The explosion was followed by an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the regime soldiers, killing four soldiers and injuring six others, some seriously. Regime forces responded to the attack by bombarding HTS positions in Al-Ruwayha village, with heavy artillery, which killed a member of HTS.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that regime ground forces continue rocket attacks on towns and villages in south Idlib countryside, targeting places in Quqfin, Kansafra, Kafr Oweid, Ain Larouz and other places in the area.

 

Syrian Observatory sources reported earlier this morning that regime forces renewed ground bombardment in the early hours of Friday morning, targeting places in Al-Fterah, Kansafra, Sfuhen and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib. no casualties have been reported yet.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” factions targeted, with artillery and rockets, regime position in the southern countryside of Idlib, responding to the ongoing shelling on villages and towns of Idlib countryside.

 

Meanwhile, the fighting factions were able to destroy heavy weapons in the village of Besqla, south of Idlib. No casualties were reported.
