Routine patrols | US forces tour several villages in rural Al-Qahtaniyah

SOHR activists have monitored a routine US patrol of four armoured vehicles touring the villages of Bakroghly, Derna Aghi, and Baterzan in Alyan area of Al-Qahtaniyah district in the eastern countryside of Al-Qamishli.

On July 29, SOHR activists said that US forces established a military checkpoint nearby Al-Malikiyah city (Dayrik) in north-eastern Al-Hasakah, in order to block Russian patrols in the area. This development came as a part of the growing tension between the two sides in SDF-controlled areas.
