Military build-up | Regime forces bring in new reinforcement to Sahl Al-Ghab and rural Latakia, and shell factions’ positions in rural Idlib

SOHR sources say that regime forces stationed in Jabal Shahshabo shelled the factions’ positions in the villages of Al-Fatira and Safohin in southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported yet.

In recent days, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that regime forces and loyalists brought in new military reinforcement to Sahl Al-Ghab and Al-Jib Al-Ahmar and the frontlines of the north-eastern Latakia countryside.

Regime forces brought in new military reinforcement to their positions in Idlib countryside. Busses carrying regime soldiers were seen heading from rural Hama to the frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Hours earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an exchange of fire with shells and heavy machine guns, between regime forces and loyalists on one side, and factions on the other, on Kafrnbel and Harsh Kafrnbel frontlines in the southern countryside of Idlib. 

On July 24, SOHR sources reported that regime forces brought in military reinforcement to the frontlines of Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.
