Coronavirus | Total number of infected people jumps to 36 in north-western Syria, and 20 cases recovered
Health authorities in north-western Syria have recorded a new coronavirus case in rural Aleppo in the areas held by Turkish-backed factions.
This brings the number of infected people to 17 in the countryside of Aleppo, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions.
According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 36, including medical staff. The cases are broken down by region as follows: 17 cases in Idlib and countryside, and 17 cases in the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions.
One new case has also recovered in the city of Al-Bab. This brings the total number of recovery cases to about 20.
