Military build-up | Regime forces strengthen military and security presence in “Jaydor Horan” area

Daraa governorate- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored regime forces setting up new checkpoints in the area of “Jaydor Horan” area in the countryside of Daraa during the past hours.

Regime forces have set up a military post east of Al-Jadira in the city of Al-Harra and set up a checkpoint on the road of Al-Hara-Zamrin at the intersection of Khirbet Mamma junction.

Meanwhile, regime forces have reinforced their positions near al-Harra city in Daraa countryside.

Regime forces have set up a checkpoint between Jassim city and Kafr Shams town in Daraa countryside.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored the arrival of military reinforcement of regime forces and loyalists to the northern positions of the national hospital in Jassim city, al-Jabi road and the Smalin-Namar area.

This development comes as Air-Force and Public Intelligence branches tighten security in the area which they control.

On 1st August, SOHR sources reported that a woman was shot in the town of Al-Qusayr, following calshes between members of the 4th Division from the village of Al-Qusayr and members of the “Fifth Corps” from the town of Al-Shajara.
