Afrin | Turkish Jandarma kills child while attempting to cross into Turkey

SOHR activists have documented the killing of a child under the age of 18 from Ferkana village (Wairkan) of Sharran district, after being shot by the Turkish border guard forces (Jandarma). The boy was killed as he was trying to cross into Turkey, near Iki Dam village of Sharran district.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution, has risen to 451 including 80 children under the age of eighteen and 44 females over the age of eighteen.
