Week after cancellation of Russian-Turkish joint patrol | Turkish forces inspect several sites on Aleppo-Latakia road

The Syrian Observatory has monitored Turkish forces deploying in several areas in Idlib countryside, on the Aleppo-Latakia road, known as “M4”. Turkish forces withdrew from those sites after exploring them.

According to Observatory sources, these security measures by Turkish forces on the “Aleppo-Latakia” road come as part of securing the road to joint patrols with Russian forces.

On July 29, reliable sources told SOHR that the Russian-Turkish joint patrol, supposed to tour Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4), has been canceled for the second consecutive day for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, Turkish forces conducted a patrol alone on the M4 highway, starting from Al-Nayreb to Ain Hour village in Latakia countryside.
