Idlib countryside | Regime forces send in new military reinforcement to Jabal al-Zawiya frontlines, as sporadic clashes continue

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored military columns of regime forces and loyalists, heading from the eastern Idlib countryside and south-western Aleppo, to new positions near Kafranbel and Jabal al-Zawiya area in southern Idlib countryside, coinciding with sporadic clashes on several frontlines in the southern Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, the fighting factions were able to destroy a fuel tank belonging to regime forces with a guided missile, on Al-Mashari’a frontline in western countryside of Hama.

SOHR sources say that “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room targeted this evening with by artillery regime forces’ positions near the town of Kafranbel, south of Idlib. No casualties have been reported yet.

SOHR sources reported earlier that factions of the “National Liberation Front” fired several rockets on regime positions in countryside of Latakia. 

SOHR activists monitored earlier this morning fierce clashes between jihadi groups and rebel factions on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other, in Al-Fterah frontlines in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

The clashes, which left three regime soldiers dead and three others wounded, followed regime attempt to advance into positions of the rebels and jihadists. Two members of jihadi groups were also killed in the same clashes.
