Coronavirus | Total number of infected people jumps to 40 in rural Idlib, as two new cases confirmed

Medical sources in Idlib countryside say that two new coronavirus cases were recorded in Idlib countryside, one in the town of Sarmada and the other in Taftanaz in the areas held by HTS and the factions.

This brings the number of infected people to 19 in in rural Idlib province.

According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 40, including two doctors were residing in Turkey.

The cases are broken down by region as follows: 19 cases in Idlib and countryside, and 19 cases in the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions.

One new case has also recovered. This brings the total number of recovery cases to 24.
