Afrin | Turkish-backed factions loot walnut harvest in Jendires

As Turkish-backed factions continue atrocities against civilians in areas under their control, reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the factions of Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah and Sultan Murad looted the harvest of walnut belonging to civilians in several villages.

These factions took over the walnut harvest in the villages of Tal Tawil, Jumaki, Qujma, Marataih, and Burj Abdalu of Jendires district in Afrin countryside, since the factions’ members harvested fruitful walnut trees and sold them in Afrin countryside.

On August 4, Observatory sources reported that members of “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah” assaulted a family that were displaced from eastern Ghouta to Afrin city in western Aleppo.

According to SOHR sources, dispute flared up over the possession of a house, which evolved later to hand-to-hand fight between the factions’ members and members of the displaced family. The rebels beat young men of the family, then members of the civil police intervened to break up the fight between the two sides. The factions’ members opened fire on the police to terrorize them then they escapade.
