Security campaign | SDF storm east Deir Ezzor countryside, arresting several people

SDF-affiliated members steal money from civilian houses during the security raids

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that Syria Democratic Forces launched security campaign in Al-Dahla village where they arrested three young people, who were ex-fighters in opposition factions. The security forces also insulted an old man after stealing 300,000 SYL and three mobile phones from his house.

This raid coincided with another campaign of raids and arrests in Al-Takihi village and a refugee camp near Al-Sekkah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. During this campaign, SDF arrested four young people for unknown reasons and took them to unknown destination.

On the other hand, SDF arrested five other people this morning, including an old man, in hawayij village in eastern Deir Ezzor. Meanwhile, SDF established many checkpoints in front of mosques in Theban and Al-Shuhayl towns just before Friday prayer, attempting to prevent these town’s residents to stage anti-SDF demonstrations.
