Turkey’s military build-up | Nearly 40 Turkish vehicles enter “de-escalation zone”, including tanks and armoured vehicles

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of a Turkish column via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib, carrying tanks, armoured vehicles and logistical materials.

The column consists of about 40 vehicles and headed towards positions of Turkish troops stationed in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 5,280 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 8,615 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While over 11,500 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
