Security campaign | SDF storm Al-Hawayij village, arresting regime loyalists

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SDF security campaign has been continuing for the third consecutive day in Al-Hawayij village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. In this context, reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that SDF security group, backed by helicopters of the International Coalition, stormed areas in the village in the early hours of Sunday morning, in which the security forces arrested several people loyal to the Syrian regime.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that SDF arrested seven young people in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Saturday morning. The reasons behind these arrests were unknown.

 

On Thursday, SOHR sources reported that SDF stormed Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor this morning. The security forces arrested six civilians, including a family of five persons.

 

According to SOHR sources, SDF burnt down one of the arrested people’s house after driving the inhabitants out. The reasons behind these arrests were unknown.
