Joint patrols | Russian police and Turkish forces tour rural Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

SOHR activists have monitored Russian police and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani) in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. Four Russian vehicles and four Turkish others toured the villages of Ghareeb, Alishar, Kurtik, Tal Hajib, Qabajib Saghir, Hulaqi, Kharbasan Tahtani, Qurrat Mugh. Two Russian helicopters were seen flying over the area, escorting the patrol.

 

On July 27, SOHR activists monitored Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in Aleppo countryside. The patrol, escorted by Russian helicopters, roamed villages in the western countryside of Ain al-Arab (Kobani).

 

According to Observatory sources, several young people and children blocked the patrol, but Russian soldiers intervened and reopened the road, then the young people and children pelted the patrol with stones.
