Afrin | Turkish intelligence arrests three old men in Jendires for unknown reasons

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that Turkish intelligence service arrested three old men yesterday in “Shuwadarah” village of Jendires district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo. The three men were arrested for unknown reasons and taken to unknown destination.

SOHR sources reported earlier this month that members of the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” kidnapped a young man from Afrin three days earlier from his workplace in Afrin city, north of Aleppo. The factions’ members accused him of seizing a shop previously belonged to the “Autonomous Administration”.

The young man was released after paying a ransom of about $6,000.

While on July 24, SOHR sources reported that gunmen of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzat Division” looted several civilian houses in “Qadda” village of Raju district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo, as a part of ongoing restriction on people of Afrin canton to force them to leave the area.

According to SOHR sources, “Suleiman Shah” faction, known as “Al-Amshat”, forced the residents of Yakhour village (Kakhrah) of Maabatli district in Afrin countryside to leave their houses. The residents were taken later to makeshift camps on the village’s northern outskirts.
