Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) in foiled a new attempt by women of ISIS family to escape from Al-Hawl Camp in the south-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah. Four Russian women with four of their sons were attempting to escape from Al-Hawl camp, after coordination with the driver of a water tanker truck affiliated to the “Syrian Red Crescent”, who delivers water daily to the immigrant section in the camp.

On August 8, SOHR sources said that the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) managed on Friday evening to foil an escape attempt from Al-Hawl camp by five women and seven of their children of Russian nationalities.

The women were arrested while attempting to cross the camp wall, as they were caught by surveillance cameras. It is worth noting that the camp accommodates families of the Islamic State members in the south-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakeh in north-eastern Syria.
